Linnie Canal Residence
This project is set on one of three adjacent parcels in the Venice Canals. The compound consists of private living quarters in the west building and public living facilities in the east building and a shared courtyard connecting both structures. Inspired by the Owner’s travels to Morocco and Mali, this structure and the proposed main residence create a colorful composition of undulating massing, interior-exterior interrelationships and plays on the solid and void which embrace the outdoor living area / courtyard.
