Cedar Street Residence

Perched in the hills of Santa Monica, west of Santa Monica College, this project consisted of converting an existing duplex, along with miscellaneous additions, into a Spanish Mission Revival style, single family residence. The first floor kitchen and dining were combined into a new larger kitchen, and the rear bedroom was expanded and converted into living and dining which opened up to the renovated rear yard. The second floor kitchen and dining were converted into the primary bathroom and closet, and the second floor living converted to the new primary bedroom. In addition to the interior reconfiguration, various architectural projections, balconies, decks, and details were incorporated to achieve a Spanish Mission Revival styling.
