Broad Beach Residence
This project is located in the north Malibu area of Broad Beach. This beach front property is fairly narrow and deep and sits well below the elevation of the street. To enhance the water experience of living on the beach, the project incorporates a linear pool and spa which runs perpendicular to the ocean, much like a fresh water tributary or estuary, on the long axis of the property, that ebbs deep into the site along side the public spaces of the home. This allows the public spaces to view straight out the narrow axis to the Pacific Ocean or along the long axis to view the pool.
